After completing his Law degree, Jan began his career as a Researcher with a boutique Executive Search firm, before joining global recruitment business Hudson to focus on legal appointments across the UK.  

Jan spent over 17 years with the business, leading specialist teams across the UK. During this time, he gained strong market knowledge and an impressive network across the UK legal market.  

With a track record of advising organisations who are looking to build dedicated in-house legal functions, Jan has also successfully partnered with international law firms, supporting them to open regional UK offices.  

Typically, Jan places lawyers at all levels across private practice, the public sector and commerce and industry, including partner hires, general counsel, heads of legal, and team moves.
