Principle Business Analyst | £60k – £70k + benefits | West Midlands, on site
As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, you will lead the Business Analysis practice and manage 8 Business Analysts in the Group Transformation function.
This is an organisation with great purpose who are always looking to expand and improve. The current Transformation team is at 90+ heads and serves the national business across all business functions.

Key responsibilities:

To serve as the strategic consultant for the Strategy and Group Transformation divisions, offering expertise in optimal Business Analysis practices, their implementation in program execution, and the formulation of strategic transformation business cases focused on benefits.
- Oversee the delivery of a proficient Business Analysis and Architectural service for significant and high-risk strategic transformation initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, ranging from initial feasibility assessment to the realisation of benefits.
- Take responsibility for refining and taking ownership of the Business Analysis and Business Architecture framework, standards, and operational methodology. These enhancements will cater to the demands of intricate strategic transformation efforts and large-scale business enhancement programs aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives for both our enterprise and customers.
- Lead the direction, guidance, and mentorship of a team of approximately 8 skilled Business Analysts and associates. This leadership will elevate their competencies and capacities to ensure high-quality results within the broader Group Transformation community.
- Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders and business counterparts, enabling the delivery of optimised strategies and resolutions to demanding business predicaments. Additionally, actively challenge programs in instances where alterations to scope could jeopardise the attainment of benefits, capability delivery, and functional prioritisation.
- Establish, construct, and expand the Business Architectural framework to facilitate comprehensive process mapping principles, standards, capabilities, and hierarchies for business processes spanning multiple departments.
Essential:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven experience as a line manager of Business Analysts
- Available to work from the office in West Midlands most days
- Prior experience developing operating models
