Interim Site Financial Controller – South Birmingham – £550/£650 Outside IR35 – 6 Months
I have an immediate requirement for an Interim Site Financial Controller to turnaround a challenged manufacturing site. Initially you will do a deep dive into the financial efficiency, team structure, financial process, systems and reporting to assess the current capability before producing a change plan. You will then, over an agreed period (circa 6 months) deliver the plan to bring the operation back to profit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an initial overview to comprehensively scope out financial requirements.
- Recommend a milestone-based solution for the implementation of a financial overhaul and turnaround.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial timetable to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee and optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen technical rigour in financial data analysis and reporting.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
- Streamline and improve financial systems for increased effectiveness.
Key Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc..
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller / Director within a manufacturing site.
- Demonstrable turnaround experience.
- Delivery of bottom-up process improvements.
- Understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
