Our client, a rapidly expanding PE-backed business based in Staffordshire is looking to recruit an Interim SAP S/4 Hana Implementation Specialist on a 9-12 months contract.

The role will act as a critical player in upgrading and implementing the new system, partnering with the UK CFO and collaborating closely with the EMEA CIO in this pivotal transformation.

Location: Staffordshire (hybrid working)

Contract length: 9-12 months ongoing

Day rate: £Negotiable depending on experience (outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities of the Interim SAP Finance Specialist

  • Lead the initial implementation phase, focusing on the finance module within SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition
  • Work alongside SAP consultants to implement financial systems and reporting tools to support the delivery of financial information
  • Analyse current financial data and cleanse pre-installation as necessary
  • Collaborate with the EMEA CIO and other stakeholders to understand business needs, design solutions, and potentially expand implementation to other critical modules.
  • Provide expertise in configuring, customising, and optimising the SAP S/4 HANA system to meet evolving business requirements
  • Conduct thorough testing, quality assurance, and user training to ensure successful adoption of the new system
  • Act as a liaison between the technical team and business users, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment throughout the implementation process

Requirements

  • Prior experience in implementing SAP finance modules within dynamic and evolving business environments
  • Desirable qualifications as a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) or substantial experience in implementing SAP finance modules
  • Proven track record in end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations and system upgrades
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to navigate complex business requirements and align them with technical solutions
