Part Time Financial Controller (1/2 days per week)

My client is a small, extremely well-regarded boutique Financial Services Business. They are growing and looking to professionalise their internal finance function. The aim is to formalise the accounting timetable, produce timely management / financial accounts, develop relevant financial reporting, produce useful MI to support commercial decision making and improve their process and delivery around forecasting and planning.
The role would suit a candidate who is looking to develop or top up a portfolio of clients. Initially the role will require flexibility around 1 or 2 days per week but will settle to a more consistent level once the routine of the role has been established.
Ideally a financial services or regulated background would be desirable, but the essence of the role is around delivering the basics to a high standard within a small business, the past experience of delivering this successfully is absolutely key.
In the early stages of the contract and around specific meetings you will need to be able to get to the Central London office but largely the role can be delivered remotely.
