Interim Head of Commercial Finance
Birmingham (Hybrid, 3 days in Birmingham)
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
£100/£120,000 per annum
This role offers a high-impact leadership position within a business that values agility, ambition, and excellence.
As Interim Head of Commercial Finance, you will take full ownership of all commercial elements including M&A, budgeting and forecasting. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role requiring commercial insight and operational execution across a complex, evolving business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team leadership.
- Drive commercial finance activity, providing strategic insight and challenge.
- Manage acquisition accounting and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure sound financial decision-making across the group.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
- Experience of a multi-site environment.
- Proven ability to lead in growing change environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, alongside robust broader finance expertise.
- A natural self-starter with a calm, assured leadership style.
- Highly organised, focused, and able to manage competing demands with clarity and confidence.
