An Interim Finance Transition Project Lead is required to join large and prestigious engineering business during a significant period of change. As the Interim Finance Transition Project Lead, you will play a critical role in the businesses finance separation activities.
This will be a high profile role and the successful individual will operate at both a tactical and strategic level.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Responsible for the defining and implementing an effective and robust finance data separation process
- Assessing and implementing various operational finance activities
- Process mapping activities and ensuring robust controls and governance are in place
- Business partnering with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensuring the transition remains on target
- Reviewing all finance operational activity ensuring effective processes are in place
- Interfacing with multiple numbers stakeholders to ensure alignment to the transition
- Reviewing and escalating any key challenges and ensuring a swift resolution
- Ensuring delivery against all accounting policies and procedures
Key requirements
- A proven finance and transformation leader, with significant experience in large complex businesses
- A strong background in M&A activities, in large matrix businesses
- Strong influencing and communication skills, the ability to foster strong working relationships
- A proven track record in M&A, ideally carve out and separation activities
- Exposure operating in large complex businesses, an agile and commercial approach
