GRG Executive Search have partnered up with Ecologi to reduce their carbon footprint and help fund climate projects. They have committed to planting 10,000 trees by the end of 2021, and this partnership will also support local families and restore wildlife habitats across the globe. In addition to an office powered by 100% renewable energy and a flexible working pattern that reduces overall emissions, every GRG employee is carbon positive both inside and outside of work.
We are grateful to be in a position where we can give back to the local community. Over the past two years, we have fundraised over £30,000 for charity, from hosting events and participating in various sporting activities. Following our charitable success in recent years, having partnered with Midlands Air Ambulance and MacMillan Cancer Support, our most recent charitable partner was decided via a company-wide vote. For 2021/2022, our chosen charity is the Make a Wish Foundation. However, we endeavour to work with smaller local charities throughout the year too.
Last year, we celebrated coming 19th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2020. A number of factors were considered in the rankings, but we were particularly commended for our environmental initiatives, community initiatives and employee rewards. During the pandemic, we have encouraged staff to undertake charity work; if they found themselves furloughed due to reduced workload. We utilise the huge skill-base we have acquired amongst our employees to support people, even if they’re not on our radar. As a business, we have donated unused laptops to children struggling with homeschooling and will continue to support/assist those in need.
Dedicated CSR Team
We take our Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously, and we’re always looking for ways to help, both locally and globally. So, we’ve put together a dedicated team of volunteers to keep us proactive and organised in our CSR efforts. Our dedicated CSR team put together a number of charitable initiatives throughout the year including engaging in national charitable days, such as the Macmillan Coffee Morning and National Walking Month. We have also organised dedicated working days for volunteering in local charities, covered by the business.
What Our Clients Say
What sets GRG apart is the investment of time to really understand our culture and people. As a result they have an excellent hit rate of candidates submitted who are then offered a position.
Gordon Hurst, Chair, Darktrace
Like many I have worked with Recruitment Agencies for a number of years, both as a candidate and an employer. It’s fair to say that this isn’t the easiest or most enjoyable of experiences at times and it’s with this in mind that I do not hesitate to recommend Dan Hughes and the IT Team at Gleeson Recruitment. Dan and I met when I applied for a role that Gleeson had been commissioned to place and through my experience I can say that the team expertly strike the balance between acting in the best interest of their client but also seeking out, building a relationship with, and maintaining the interest of candidates.
Ben Dale, CTO, PeoplePlus UK
GRG Executive Search has recently overseen a significant senior hire for my businesses. In the past I have been extremely sceptical about the value of using a recruitment firm but GRG’s utter professionalism and dedication has completely changed my view. Not only did they head hunt the perfect candidate for the role but refreshingly their involvement has continued post the candidate's acceptance of our offer. This has insured a smooth bedding in process, which has saved us both time and money.
Tim Young, CEO Netwatch Global Ltd
Emma was supportive throughout the recruitment process for my new role. We had regular check ins and Emma was always available for catch ups. Not only was her support great during my interview stage but also at offer acceptance stage also. I would not hesitate to work with Emma again.
Ross Murray, Head of Referrals Business Development at Linnaeus
Emma definitely isn’t your typical recruiter and you instantaneously know this when she doesn’t get the first CV to you in an hour. Her search and selection will be thorough and she will stick with the parameters you’ve laid out, however, she is never shy at showing you the wild card candidate you never knew you wanted. She remains my absolute preferred supplier when hiring any HR professionals and, I have, and always will strongly recommend her to many other businesses now and in the future.
