GRG Executive Search have partnered up with Ecologi to reduce their carbon footprint and help fund climate projects. They have committed to planting 10,000 trees by the end of 2021, and this partnership will also support local families and restore wildlife habitats across the globe. In addition to an office powered by 100% renewable energy and a flexible working pattern that reduces overall emissions, every GRG employee is carbon positive both inside and outside of work.
We are grateful to be in a position where we can give back to the local community. Over the past two years, we have fundraised over £30,000 for charity, from hosting events and participating in various sporting activities. Following our charitable success in recent years, having partnered with Midlands Air Ambulance and MacMillan Cancer Support, our most recent charitable partner was decided via a company-wide vote. For 2021/2022, our chosen charity is the Make a Wish Foundation. However, we endeavour to work with smaller local charities throughout the year too.
Last year, we celebrated coming 19th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2020. A number of factors were considered in the rankings, but we were particularly commended for our environmental initiatives, community initiatives and employee rewards. During the pandemic, we have encouraged staff to undertake charity work; if they found themselves furloughed due to reduced workload. We utilise the huge skill-base we have acquired amongst our employees to support people, even if they’re not on our radar. As a business, we have donated unused laptops to children struggling with homeschooling and will continue to support/assist those in need.
Dedicated CSR Team
We take our Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously, and we’re always looking for ways to help, both locally and globally. So, we’ve put together a dedicated team of volunteers to keep us proactive and organised in our CSR efforts. Our dedicated CSR team put together a number of charitable initiatives throughout the year including engaging in national charitable days, such as the Macmillan Coffee Morning and National Walking Month. We have also organised dedicated working days for volunteering in local charities, covered by the business.
